CLIMB DATES: Mountain closed due to fires
Lucy traveled in Australia for two weeks in January 2020 waiting to climb Mount Kosciusko, but never had the chance to even get close to the mountain. During those two weeks, Australia was experiencing the worst fires in their recorded history and Mount Kosciusko was in the heart of it. “I never imagined fire would be a reason for not reaching the summit of a mountain, but the more time I spend in the outdoors, I am reminded that weather has the ultimate say.”
