At 21,000 feet on her first summit attempt, Lucy experienced altitude symptoms which required her to descend until feeling better. Unfortunately, she was unable to attempt the summit again due to a week-long high wind and snow storm. Lucy looks forward to returning one day to stand on the top of the Western Hemisphere’s highest mountain.
